Surgery
Tumor, bone, and jaw surgery for complex cases. International-standard procedures, safe anesthesia, dedicated post-operative care.
The surgical department at Hallo Vet is led personally by Dr. Tran Van Chuong — a veterinarian with over 10 years of experience, trained in Germany in soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery.
We perform a wide range of surgeries: spay/neuter for dogs and cats, tumor removal (benign and malignant), bone surgery (fractures, dislocations, TPLO), abdominal surgery (foreign body removal, gastric torsion, splenectomy), maxillofacial surgery, and eye surgery.
Before each operation, the pet undergoes comprehensive blood work and a general health assessment to ensure anesthesia safety. The vet explains in detail to owners: surgical method, potential risks, expected recovery time, and specific costs. Owners always sign consent before proceeding.
Hallo Vet's operating room meets strict sterile standards: HEPA air filtration system, shadowless LED surgical lights, and specialized stainless steel operating tables. Anesthesia uses isoflurane gas — the safest inhalation method available today, allowing precise depth control and rapid post-surgery recovery.
Throughout surgery, the pet's vitals are continuously monitored with multi-parameter monitors: heart rate, SpO2, blood pressure, body temperature, and capnography (exhaled CO2). A dedicated anesthesia team is always present.
Post-operative care is our top priority. Pets are kept in a heated recovery room until fully alert. The vet provides detailed home care instructions: pain management, bandage changes, diet, activity restrictions, and follow-up schedule.
Notably, Hallo Vet is proud of its Free Spay/Neuter Program founded by Dr. Chuong — having performed over 1,000 free spay/neuter surgeries for stray animals and pets from disadvantaged families nationwide. This is our commitment to the community and controlling the stray animal population.
Surgery warranty: spay/neuter guaranteed for 7 days, other surgeries warranted by type — the vet will specify. Free post-surgical follow-up if complications related to the surgery arise.
