Domestic transport by air via VietJet Air, Bamboo Airways, Vietnam Airlines — each airline has specific rules regarding weight, carrier dimensions, and brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds. Hallo Vet provides precise guidance for each airline's requirements. Road transport uses specialized air-conditioned, well-ventilated vehicles suitable for shorter distances.

International pet transport is complex with varying regulations by country. Hallo Vet has experience processing paperwork for over 20 countries: USA, Canada, Australia, UK, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and many more. Each country has specific requirements for: vaccine types, quarantine periods, rabies antibody tests, microchip, health certificates, and import permits.

Standard preparation process for international transport: Step 1 — Free consultation on destination country regulations (1-2 days). Step 2 — Health exam + ISO microchip + required vaccinations (1 day). Step 3 — Rabies antibody test (FAVN test) if required — results in 2-4 weeks. Step 4 — Health certificate + export permit issuance (3-5 days). Step 5 — Coordinating ticket booking and IATA-compliant carriers.

Total preparation time: 2-4 weeks for countries not requiring FAVN tests, 2-3 months for those that do (USA, Australia, EU, Japan). We recommend contacting Hallo Vet as early as possible when planning a move.

Pets receive a thorough health examination before travel, ensuring they meet all flight requirements. For brachycephalic breeds (Pugs, Bulldogs, Persians, Exotic Shorthairs), we advise on the safest transport method — some airlines do not accept flat-faced breeds due to respiratory risks.
