The examination and treatment service at Hallo Vet is the foundation of all our pet healthcare activities. Our consultation process begins with listening — owners share about their pet's condition, behavioral changes, diet, and medical history. The veterinarian then performs a comprehensive clinical examination including: heart and lung auscultation, abdominal palpation, skin and coat check, dental inspection, eyes, ears, lymph nodes, and overall body condition assessment.
Our modern diagnostic system includes: automated blood analyzers (results in 15 minutes), urinalysis, abdominal ultrasound, and veterinary blood pressure monitors. Everything is performed on-site — no sending samples out, no waiting. With rapid test results, the vet can provide an accurate diagnosis and begin treatment within the same visit.
Treatment plans are always explained transparently: which medication, dosage, duration, possible side effects, and when to schedule a follow-up. The vet clearly communicates costs before performing any tests or treatments — no hidden fees, no surprises.
Common conditions we treat include: gastrointestinal infections (vomiting, diarrhea), dermatological issues (allergies, fungal infections, ticks), respiratory diseases, urinary problems, eye and ear conditions, and complex internal medicine cases such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and hyperthyroidism in senior cats.
We have particular expertise in exotic pets: hedgehogs, hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, and reptiles. Dr. Chuong is one of the few veterinarians in Ho Chi Minh City with deep experience in exotic pet medicine.
